Loquat. Eriobotrya japonica
This year we have a bumper crop of loquats on the way. I had always heard that winters with rain will provide tons of fruit and it has come true!
Loquats are a relative of roses and distant relative of Apples (Malus spp.), Medlar (Mispilus germanica), Stone Fruit (Prunus spp.), Pears (Pyrus spp.).
