Can't tell you their ancestry because I lost the tag. These have lasted me 16 months and the only reason we harvested was to clear the area and replant in another area. All the other perennial / walking / Egyptian onion did not make it through this long and hot summer which STILL is lingering in October. This planting was one of many purchased from different people on eBay, but only these made it through. These have yet to bulb on the end of the leaf as most Egyptian onions do.
