Daikon Radish slices. The ones on the left are young and tender. The
ones on the right, even though they are smaller, are tougher. Roast
these babies and the fire is removed from the radish!
Dinner: green papaya coleslaw, pickled Jamaican Burr cucumbers, fresh
tomato slices, halved figs, steamed swiss chard, and open faced, whole
wheat, steak sandwich loaded with sauteed green peppers, perennial
onions, and figs.
I think FIGS says it all.
