Karen's driveway crack favorite: Pour a thick, dollar store hot sauce on them: contains salt, hot pepper, vinegar and it STICKS to the weed. NOTE: The driveway is red for a bit but it has always washed away in a good rain and smells great.
Cover them with cardboard or thick layers of newspaper.
Pour boiling water on them.
Torch them with fire. Preferably not in the dry season. Have a fire extinguisher on hand and use caution. Get a permit if doing this on a large scale.
Salt them (will kill lots of other plants though, use with caution).
Pour vinegar on them. (Maybe BOILING vinegar with a dash of soap so it sticks?)
Dig up and eat edible weeds.
Change your perception of what a weed is then you don't have to do anything.
Lean over and pull them out.
