Prepping Carrots
One of my three beds of carrots had an issue so I resolved it for them. I removed what was left of them. After snapping off the tops and leaving them in the garden for compost, I put them on this handy screen John made for me.
The screen really helps washing them outdoors so all the dirt stays outside.
They are washed once more inside using a rag to get the majority of dirt off them.
Carrots then were cut into quarters, topped with chopped parsley, tossed in olive oil, microwaved until tender, then roasted. The leftovers were diced and put into our chicken soup the next day. UMMM. UMMM. Good.
