Lots and lots of garden tomatoes = pasta sauce

Sunburned, frost touched, and oodles of everglades tomatoes = pasta sauce.

Again. I could make this photo glamorous but why should I? This is REAL backyard gardening in SW Florida.

Remove green stems and bad spots. Throw in blender. Add any veggies or spices you choose including onion, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, sugar, and even a dash of balsamic vinegar. Forget the "removing the seeds and skins".

Pour into a pan and heat on simmer until the liquid is thickened to something you would like as pasta sauce.

You. Are. Done.
