The 10 most common mistakes:
- forgot to water REGULARLY
- forgot to fertilize REGULARLY
- forgot to put a cutworm collar around the transplant
- forgot to spray for or pick off caterpillars REGULARLY
- forgot to spray for disease REGULARLY
- planted at the WRONG time of the year (for SW FL that means planting Fall, Winter, and early Spring ONLY unless growing currant tomatoes)
- forgot to stake to keep off the ground
- watered leaves instead of soil
- handled WET plants
- forgot to weed REGULARLY
