(READ ON to learn how you could win a composting bin!)
This 90-minute workshop blends indoor lessons with outdoor, hands-on activities in our compost demonstration area. Designed for residents interested in learning about backyard composting, attendees will learn the basics of home composting, how to build your own compost system, and the benefits of composting. They also will gain an understanding of food waste issues and how our community is helping with the solution.
While this course is geared to beginners, experienced composters are welcome.
So, how can you win a composting bin? Simple: attend the class. We'll raffle off to attendees a select number of composting bins during the class.
