Gary Buscigilio, a hydroponics supplier to Sarasota County, will discuss the origins, practical uses, and current state of hydroponic systems including organic and other methods. Gary will compare the pros and cons of hydroponics, the types of media, and will provide advice on picking the best plants for success. Hydroponics systems can range from the very simple, such as the Kratky Method that uses no pumps, to systems with circulating nutritional solutions. There is a system that will fit your needs and let you grow plants in the comfort of your home, lanai or garden. Gary will field your questions and steer you in the right direction toward a new experience in growing plants. Please join us for what will prove to be an informative and interactive presentation. Register early through Eventbrite.com to reserve your spot and receive notice of any changes.
