Edible: jewels of opar.
Talinum paniculatum
If you loved Ceylon spinach, you will love this plant. It looks very similar to Ceylon spinach only the leaves are a smaller, wonderfully colored yellow-green, not as tall, leaves are not as thick as purslane or Ceylon spinach, and has the same type of flavor.
Jewels of Opar self sows plus, so far, appears to love HEAT and HUMIDITY. This needs to be in everyone's garden.
Above photos are seedlings and mature plants sending out flower stalks and seeds.
