Best bean crop this winter
Variety: Jade bean. Third planting. No rust on any of the beans and only a bit on the leaves. Nice big harvest. Note quarter for scale.
Timing really is everything some years.
Half are going to be roasted and half steamed. I love room temperature cooked beans tossed with a bit of my favorite French or Italian dressing to fill me up in the evening when my stomach is growling but I know I should not eat something heavy.
