Insect Alert
Harlequin Bug in the Garden
Gene McAvoy identified for me: Harlequin Bug nymphs hatching out – a type of stink bug which attacks a variety of crops including bean – they also really like cole crops. Rarely ever see them other than in organic crops.
They are the size of a pin head as nymphs. Click here to go to a link that shows photos of them at adult stage.
These nymphs will be crushed. Adults, that's a whole other maddening issue. Those that have been with me with organic controls, think organic chrysanthumum.
