Sowing Tiny Seeds
Simple and it works great for sowing small seeds such as carrot and lettuce seeds. If only sowing a small amount of seed, I add vermiculite to the mix. Having a whole bed to cover with seed, I just put the seed in the yogurt container and put the lid and shook it over the bed. The lid has a few holes punched in it using a hole punch. Cost: $0.
