Grow A Gardener workshop presented by the Lehigh Acres Edible Gardening Exchange. Suitable for, but not limited to, ages 8-11. Have fun learning what makes good dirt, what plants need to grow, how seeds become a plant, play in worm poop, make more plants, good and bad bugs, and more. Be a part of an 8-week growing project! Taste unusual edibles! Learn how to get started growing in our unique climate!
Eight week program Mondays beginning September 10, ending October 29. Parents must attend and participate. Workshop runs from 10-11am; everyone participates in cleanup from 11-11:15am. Free with Veterans Park membership. Materials fee of $20 per child is payable to instructor.
Minimum 5 maximum 15.
