Have ALL your questions answered on planting fruit trees in Lehigh Acres' unique climate by Bob Stuhlman and Dean Wingo from B & D Nursery located in East Lehigh. Bring samples, bring a friend, bring pen and paper, bring-it-on for a fun-filled and informative evening.
The meeting starts promptly at 5:30pm on Thursday, May 17th in the Veterans Park Recreational Building, 55 Homestead Road. A once-in-a-lifetime membership fee to Veterans Park of $10 per person is required after one free "trial" visit. There is no fee for the Lehigh Acres Edible Gardening Exchange.
A free raffle ticket is provided to each member that brings in an item to exchange whether it be seeds, cuttings, plants, fruit, veggies, or a healthy drink or snack. Our free exchange, mingling, and snacking take place after the meeting has ended.
